Why do you need to clear your browser cache & history?

Your browser has a folder which contains certain items that have been downloaded and stored for future use. From the BookItLive application/site, this includes BookitLive:

  • Images
  • Buttons
  • Files

which are required by the BookItLive software and are saved (cached) on your device.


When using the BookItLive web application, your browser checks if a copy of these files on the page is in its cache already. If so, it will save time by not downloading the same items again, allowing the BookItLive application to load faster. In certain situations, the cached files might be out fo date and impact the normal operation of the BookItLive software. In this situation, the cache will need to be cleared and updated.
