bookitlive caters for courses and events that occur at different locations.
bookitlive uses resource type to set the location details for an event or course. When the resource is set it will display the location details at time of booking and the details can be added to email and SMS templates using the resource type merge tags.
Setting a resource to a location or event type
From the Settings > Resources page open the resource that needs a location set
Set the resource type to location or event
If Resource Type is set to Event add the following details:
- Organiser's Name:
- Location Name:
- Street Address:
- Suburb:
- State:
- Postcode:
- Map:
If Resource Type is set to Location, add the following details:
- Location Name:
- Street Address:
- Suburb:
- State:
- Postcode:
Map: - Select Save
Displaying Resource Type location details on booking pages
Once the Resource Type fields have been saved these location details are displayed on the booking pages.
Adding Resource Type location details to templates
The following merge tags can be used in email and SMS templates:
