Resource Types

A resource can be used for different purposes and could be a person, location, class, event room or equipment. Each of these purposes requires a schedule but also has different attributes that could be used in communications.

Resource Types allow additional attributes based on the type selected. Setting the attributes makes these attributes available as tags within notifications.

Resource Types

By default a resource has no selected type. Selecting a Resource type allows additional attribute fields to be set. The following resource types can be selected.

Once a Resource type is selected and the field attributes set these fields can be used in email and SMS notifications by selecting the relevant Tag.
